Our pitching hasn't been terrible. Chris Davis has.

Hence my semi-serious suggestion about converting Davis to pitcher when he's unable to hit... after all, you would still run out of relievers at some point even with liberal usage of the Norfolk / Bowie shuttle.

anyone can win on any given day so I would say yes . I just hope hyde doesn't fall in love with these guys over the minor league guys . hats off to means for throwing strikes. yaco is nasty but control problems

Any chance we can make Chris Davis a reliever, turn Givens into a positional player and move Mancini to 1B? Also, either trade, cut or send Wright down to Norfolk? There's got to be someone better down there that can at least get someone out.

Davis needs to be on the bench to say the least. Maybe pitch hit here and there but that's it. He;s 0-17 with 11ks.

Agree with Wright, minus well cut him. Career era is 5.87 with over 200ip.

givens couldn't hit so that is the reason for him being a pitcher . I have been impressed with means so far . davis is like having a pitcher hitting . the money has already been wasted so maybe when Trumbo comes back let davis go .

hyde I don't get how he decides who and when someone pitches but maybe he is testing them to find a fit . I have more faith in our milb bp arms over ours .

I think the joke about Davis is that his 11 Ks are better than a lot of pitchers. It’s certainly not a good feature of his .000 average, though not unexpected. Guy needs to go back on amphetamines or something, since this is hardly an improvement on last year’s .168/.243/.296 nightmare.
