Really as with Wilson the size of the guy is
Not the issue
If.......
The guy fits the offence the team runs
For example
Not wilson....tom brady...there are a lot of guys tom Brady's size..none of them but him are
....tom brady...so when you pick a QB...you
Best play the game he playes the best
Or change the offence to do so

That said..arizona is not a shotgun team
Scooby doo...arrrhh....maybe yet....lol

Kliff Kingsbury will change that.

the QB class in this years draft if you ask me is super weak, these guys will be drafted high because of the position they play not the over all talent they have.

Agreed..on small QB class

But taking a QB at the top of the draft just cuz he is a QB does not seem the way to go to me

Like Johnny football

If some of these guys declare early, the 2020 draft could be very strong for QBs. Jake Fromm, Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert are all top 5-caliber talents. Not to mention that if Jacob Eason has even a decent season at UW, he has the physical talent to also warrant a top-10 pick.

Which would make one think
any team rebuilding would want to wait till next Year for a qb
And that the real top rounders this year
Are D line guys

Just an observation..more or less

Per epsn Russell Wilson gives Seahawks
Till April 15 to get a new deal

Well he is 30 years old..prob still ok till at least 36..so maybe 6 years 35 mil a season210 mil over six..?? seems
To be what they want..
But do the seahawks..no doubt they do

The only thing they can hope for is the salary cap goes up

I think that the new CBA will drastically increase the salary cap, which is probably why Wilson's agent is pushing for so much money.

People on this very board predicted the end of western civilization the LAST contract Wilson signed. This time will be more of the same. 30 million is just the new normal when it comes to paying 'good' QB's. When Wilson signs the deal, he'll be the highest paid for a short time, then he'll be eclipsed and it won't be seen as outrageous at all.

I have to agree
Harper in baseball just got a similar deal
Seems to be sports in general

Baseball.== 40 guys
Football==50 guys...while the 10 extra guys take up more money..its not that much when it comes to the BIG money
Cuz I 0 guys at league minimum..is only
5 or 6 mil...a drop in the bucket

Seems like whoever decided that 35 mil was
Ok to spend on one player...ussually agents who think they can get extra...and the market plsce

And I'm sure they justify it math formulas
Arguiing..there side of it

Seahawks moving down..2nd round will
Help...as far as money goes...if they get
2..2nd round picks then it would be close
To the same..which is what they need
Imo.they need

2,2
3,3
4
5,5
...i will say one more 5 cuz John said 8
Of coarse..a 3 would be better..but a 6 would still be ok

I could see the seahawks trading down

Then trading next years..first round as well

For 2nd or 3rd this year
Then a 2nd next year ..it happens it is the NFL

But they already have a lot of picks next year
And a Wilson bank roll to deal with
so Off next years 1st round now....
and be done With it

Lolol

I really like ...the senarios..that trading next years first round pick as well creates

Possible,s where the seahawks swoop in
And grab just the players they want
After trading both first rounders
2,2
3,3,3
4
5,5
By the end of it ....Could happen...
A lot of possibls...but mobility and manuverility give Seahawks exactly the guys they want
2..andre dillard..wrks for future
2de..fergeson or allen
2..adderly
3wr..riley
3wr..slayton
3ss
4..cb.nickle
5cb
5 cb.or lb
.

then next year
2,2
3..then comps
Too many possibles too count in that senario

what do you guys think about Khaleke Hudson as a Day three pick? He played a TON up in the box. I wont pretend to know everything about this guy after reading some reviews and watching a little highlight reel film ( it's called HIGHLIGHT reels for a reason )

at 6 foot 220 he is not a bad sized SS to throw into the box like the Hawks like to do and has a nose for finding and crushing ball carriers. This area was a HUGE weakness for Seattle last season and because they didn't have "that type of guy" the run game against was pretty bad. Having a Healthy KJ and an enforcer at strong safety who plays like a 4th LBer would go a LONG way to clean up a lot of what ailed the Hawks against the run last season.

Going back through every prospect suggested on here for the mock I'm in - I just saw that Hudson is staying at Michigan another year and won't be in this draft.

Tired of trading down for lesser talent, just pick the best OL or DL at 21.
