Simmonds a Devil for 1 year-5 mil. Really like it on the surface, no term lock in and he can add some much needed grit plus presence in front of net if healthy.

I'm curious if Simmonds fits on a line with Hughes, they don't seem to compliment one another.

However, I'm already envisioning our power play. Simmonds parked in front with Hall acting as the bumper, setting up Subban and Palmieri for the shots. This team could be a lot of fun.

I think in terms of pace he fits in better with Hall and Nico but is he a top line talent at this point?

Nikita Gusev is all the rage on Twitter these days. His rights are still owned by Vegas but he's been playing in the KHL (and absolutely dominating). Might be worth kicking the tires on since they can't sign him.
