Today is Jack Hughes day! So much more exciting with him than with Nico(and its not a knock on Nico nor a shot at him). Such a talent coming our way.

I've been on Kakko thee longest but I've been swayed by Hughes... Legit happy either way but pointing to Hughes now than before.

We do have 3 2nds, use them to move up or trade them for a real impact player.

He still can be a great player. Ever since he started dating the nasty LV, he hasn't been playing at an all-star level. Hopefully a new team will help him.

I think having Subban takes a lot of pressure off of Hughes, he doesn't have to be the star right away.

After that deal cap friendly has us at $25.7 left in cap space. We'll re-up Zacha and Butcher, possibly Mueller and/or Carrick, what is that running us, $10?

Yeah, Shero fleeced them on that deal. Was remarking on twitter yesterday morning that I wish we could trade a couple seconds and some prospects for Subban, saw the deal come across and was ecstatic

I think Vegas is going to be about $8 million over the cap once the William Karlsson contract is finalized. Seems like a great opportunity to take advantage.

A guy like Jonathan Marchessault would look great on Jack Hughes wing.
