They played a great game against one of the best teams in league. That puck was jumping on the ice for Jack. Liked the decision to just shoot. The last few games they have really turned things around. 44 shots against Boston.

With Nico, he has stepped up in so many areas, but that goal last night is what we hope to see more often. I think the word used by NBC announcers on that goal is "elite."

The Isles announcers covering for NBCSN last said Subban says he hasn't tried to change what he's doing. It's because teh forwards are doing a better job deep in the zone he now has time and space to get off the big shots. Let's hope that's true and it continues.

I think loyalty to Hynes and the inability to bring Hall back did him in. Makes sense if they're turning a corner to have someone else hire the coach etc.

I have to say, the game last night (5-1) was one of the best games they played this year.... and todays win over the Hot TB team was another good win, despite a goal being disallowed.... I just hope they keep playing like this just to salvage something from the season so they have something to work on for next year... like the effort they are playing with in the last 10 or so games.... hope they keep it up.... Welcoming the changes, cant wait to see who we hire in these top spots....
