Most everything I read about the McFadden pickup is that he's almost assuredly to make the final roster. Another tall corner couldn't hurt.

At corner we're slotting Sherman, Witherspoon, Ward, and Moore. Granted Moore is a project but he'll be given the '2' reps. Don't think McFadden is almost assuredly' to make the final roster.

Of those guys, I can see Ward trying to hold onto a backup role for the Safety position.

Yeah maybe eventually he moves back to Safety? He's the player on the hot seat now, he isn't solid at any one spot, yet has a high salary. On top of him not excelling any where, we just brought in new DB's with more potential. These new guys will be cheaper too from next season on.

Too bad these recent picks like Ward (Armstead and Garnett), didn't pan out. Even prospects like Redmond (3rd), Vance McDonald (2nd), Carradine (2nd).
