Both were right to an extent. But Barkley was "more right."

The star player and head coach don't have to have a great relationship like Barkley said, but they have to have a better relationship than Shaq says.

Basically, they have to be able to have a working relationship.

Kobe and Phil are a good example. I don't think anyone would accuse them of having a great relationship. But they knew their best chances at winning a title was with each other, so they made it work.

Has Lebron ever had a great relationship with any of his coaches?

Mutual respect is the key.

Simmons needs to spend a lot of time just collecting himself for the shot. That seems to be his biggest issue. He's constantly taking wild shots that he really doesn't need to do.

Hopefully he and Embiid will dedicate their offseasons to doing that.

I'm pretty certain it won't be in that first half hour.
