So, it looks like there's a good chance we end up with the 10th pick in the draft. Who are you guys hoping for? I like both the Bridges kids ... Mikal slightly more than Miles due to his defense, but Miles is damn good as well.

Seems that everyone has the Sixers taking Mikhal Bridges if he lasts that long.

Personally I wouldn't be shocked if they take a big man if one falls to them.

I like Guard Landry Shamet of Wichita State for our 2nd pick if still available. Athleticism is just average for a Guard, but I love everything else about him. Great outside shot, finishes well with either hand around the rim, protects the ball well and has excellent body control when driving to the cup.

If we can snag Mikal Bridges at 10 and this kid with Pick 26 (or even trade up if need be to get him as we have 4 2nd rounders) ... I'd be pretty happy. Have to figure PF Jonah Bolden will likely be on the squad this year as will Pasecniks (unless they pick up the Richaun Holmes option).

All that obviously goes out the window if we end up trading the picks for a player.

Another combo I wouldn't mind if we go Guard at 10 instead of Bridges (i.e. Sexton) ... would be SF Chandler Hutchinson at 26.

I don't watch much college at all. Would be thrilled with Bridges at 10. Wouldn't care if they traded every other pick. Not a lot of roster spots.

Bridges and Divincenzo!

Those are who I would want. Though I do think they should just package #10, 26, 38, 39, 56, 60 for a good player or for future draft assets in 2019 when there will be more talent.

If they keep the picks it will be heavy euro stash

Any chance the kid from Creighton falls to us at 26? If not, I might take him at 10.

Really liking the prospect of adding Kevin Knox at 10 if Mikal Bridges is off the board. It's actually quite close as Knox is 3 years younger than Bridges and while not as NBA ready as Bridges, Knox has huge upside as a Wing. Taller and longer than Bridges ... needs to tighten his handle, but is already a really good long range and off the screen shooter and finishes well in transition.

Suns and Sixers swap picks 10 (Mikal Bridges) and 16 (Zhaire Smith) and Sixers pick up a 2021first round pick from the Suns

meh - I would have liked the Sixers to keep Bridges
Admittedly I don't know too much about Zhaire Smith but I was a fan of Bridges and liked the idea of him playing for the Sixers

Can't blame this one on Colangelo

I'm kinda bummed trading away Bridges. I have no idea who Shamet is? I just know he went to Wichita State.. Hopefully he can shoot the 3 well.

if the Sixers didn't make the trades I would have been happy with these first 3 picks
M. Bridges
L. Shamet
K. Thomas

I even like the flyer on the Greek's brother

The trade of Bridges and Thomas soured this draft for me but we'll see how it turns out

I have no problem with the trade. Obviously Mikal is the better player now and potentially in the future. The unprotected pick is a nice asset to have if they're looking to add someone via trade. They obviously liked this kid and he sounds like a player that can be developed.

A little late to the party as I was on a Cruise with crappy internet access. Anyhoo ... I don't have any problem with the trade. Yes, I thought Bridges was a really good fit as a 3 and D guy (probably end up better than Roco), but Zhaire Smith gives you a lot of the same ... just from a different position. Our Guards outside of Ben are horrible defensively. Zhaire has the potential to be a lock down defender and although not a huge sample size on 3's (18-40) he did shoot it at an excellent percentage of 45%. Smith is also 3 years younger than Bridges and a freak of an athlete. So while Mikal is a bit more ready to step in from year one, Zhaire may have the higher upside when it's all said and done. Neither player is great at getting their own shot off, but again Zhaire may be better at it by the time he's Bridges' age. I also think that the Sixers will end up with one of either Bron, Paul George or trade for Kawhi (that unprotected 1st round pick from Miami in 2021 we received in the trade becomes a very important negotiation piece) ... which would upgrade the SF/Swing spot Mikal Bridges would have occupied.

Shamet as I mentioned prior to the draft is a pick I love ... defense is a little suspect, but the kid is very good on Offense and has a future off the bench in that role. May be insurance in case Fultz gets moved as part of getting Kawhi Leonard.
