If the Red Sox were sitting around .500 do you think that Francessa goes on that rant?


Maybe not a rant, but the lifeless, listless, heartless, lack of urgency definitely applies to this team

And it's all relative, the Red Sox are doing what they are, the As are surging, so his comments relate to exactly what's happening

I'm pretty surprised the Yanks have a worse pythag last year (.618 in 2017, .600 this year). I knew the Yanks have fallen off a bit in the 2nd half, but I didn't realize they were only +17 for the 2nd half.

And I disagree with that. I'd say this team is probably better than the 2005 or 2004 Yanks (yes they were 101-61, but their pythag was only 89-73).

Something a lot of people didn't realize is Stanton was extremely streaky while in Miami. At the end of year he will have decent numbers.

oh I have absolutely no doubt he will end the year with great numbers.. He's too good not to
