I don't even know why I post in this thread I am now and have always been a Colorado Rockies fan.

Is that how you do it @navamind.

I'm a longtime Stanford fan since the glory days of Trent Edwards

So over baseball season. Pumped for basketball season.

Sure @obxyankeefan is ready for NHL season

Had my first fantasy Hockey draft tonight. The commish never showed up to set the draft order so most of us quit and made a new league to draft next week. All I know is I am not drafting @Rock Strongo I need players that can move the puck.

Much to no one's surprise the Sox bullpen is the weakest link. Instead of landing some trade deadline help, Dumbo got Kinsler. Unless the Sox starters can start going 8 innings, the Sox are going to be out of the playoffs very quickly.

Granted they definetly could've used some BP help but Kinsler has done better than I expected. He's been a welcome addition.

Winning Baseball :L

Since Sept. 1, the Yankees are 5-6. They have collectively hit .194 with 67 hits and 95 strikeouts and a .641 OPS within those 11 games. Their pitchers have a combined 4.21 ERA and have allowed 93 hits in that same stretch.

Slugger Giancarlo Stanton has factored heavily into that rough offensive showing, amassing just four hits in the 10 games he has played. Batting .105 (4-for-38) with two RBIs, Stanton is homerless in that stretch, and he has an OPS of just .370. Boone and Stanton contend his timing is just a little off, but he's close, as they believe his at-bats are showing signs of improvement.

As poor as all of those numbers have been, they are about par for the course, given the way the Yankees have competed over roughly the past six weeks.

Since right fielder Aaron Judge went on the disabled list July 27, the Yankees have gone 25-20. Their hitters have a collective .235 batting average with 360 strikeouts in those 45 games. Their pitchers have a 4.31 ERA during that stretch.

Can Tampa catch the Yankees?

I'm all about business now, they took the one playoff game from us, now I hope they completely blow it

Highly doubt it. Yanks are the 2nd best home team in baseball and go home for 9 and 2 of those 3 series are against teams who completely quit on baseball at this point in Baltimore and Toronto.

I'll be incredibly surprised if the yanks are not sitting at 96-59 with their WC spot clinched at the end of this home stand.

Yanks are 12-4 against Toronto and swept a 4 game series in Baltimore a few weeks ago....and oh yeah they're 48-24 at home

Hope you're right

The 6 vs Boston and the 4 game sweep in Tampa could be ugly
