Two playoff berths in the last 33 years. Two. The shitbag Padres have twice as many. The hapless Pirates three times as many. The Royals are 2,431-2,844 over that time with five 100+ loss seasons.

They've won the AL Central exactly once; finished last nine times (more than any other team in the division) including this season.

With their championship, the Royals likely removed themselves from "the shittiest franchise" debate, but there's not a lot to refute that they're one of the shittiest.

yes, everyone plays for playoff births you established what is success to a indians fan. cleveland went what 40 yrs between playoff births, Indians beat the Royals with that streak as well.
