That's true...it's always fun when the pros come to town. For us golf heads we're going to know some of them for sure. But there was always a little more electricity in the air when the big guns came to town.

Especially Tiger...you could tell when he was there just based on the crowds...it sucked to be in his gallery though.

Being inside the ropes when Tiger,Rory,Rickie, Dustin is amazing! But you are right, trying to be in the crowd blows! It's so sad though... they guys in front of said players and behind get like 3 fans and that's mostly family/significant others

I'd like to go but we're playing just a few minutes away at Rockledge in West Hartford on Sunday.

....when I was at the Open in '02 following tiger required one of these. I still have it and haven't ever needed it again but they are very cool. You can watch a player putt from 20 people deep in the crowd.

Jordan holes a bunker shot on the 1st playoff hole to take the title in dramatic fashion. I guess it helped to have just recently played from the same bunker in regulation.

Ten PGAT wins, 12 total, with 2 majors...Is Spieth a HOF already?

IDK about already, but with Freddie in there, I think you can make an argument for Jordan and Rory.

Yup. He's in. I do believe that a player must have a min. 15 victories around the world, or a min. of 2 victories in the majors in order to be considered. If his last shot was the bunker hole out, once he turns 50, he should be in.

We played Rockledge in West Hartford on Sunday and finished around 3:30ish. I suggested that we should shoot over to the Travelers....if I knew the ending was gonna be so good I would have made the effort.
