I haven't heard any rumor of LA being in one soon and I think there are other teams deserving of one soon anyways, like Minnesota

It's been reported that the San Jose Sharks will likely host an outdoor game in 2014-15 as well, likely against the Los Angeles Kings at either AT&T Park in San Francisco or the new Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

-The Hawks? Wtf?
-There are any number of rivals in major markets they could have used that still would have met the "financial criteria" for this game and been a better choice.
-Since there are so many outdoor games now, how is this even special at this point? And given that, again, why the Hawks? Put them in one of the other games!
-Nats' Park is neither a classic venue nor a particularly great ballpark and the league is missing a very cool opportunity to play this game on the National Mall and create a MUCH better TV spectacle.

3 years ago I'd have said 100% chance I'd go to this game. Now I'd put myself at 30% chance.

The event isn't as special. The venue will be one of the lamest to date. The opponent is not a team Caps' fans give two shits about or that anyone would mistake for a rival.

This makes no sense.
