APPLAUSE Goodell. WOW, I really just typed that?

First memorable move this guy has done that I actually heavily favor.

SO tired of NYC hall hosting this non-stop. Give someone else the venue, a chance for other cities to see the draft and visit somewhere else. Not to mention all the dumb New York fans that freak out over someone like Mark Sanchez being drafted at #5 when nearly everyone (I mean come on, SANCHEZ? Jesus bust was written all over him) was like, "HA HA!"

Thank you Roger.

Great move. Should move to different venues each year, with NY obviously staying in the rotation.

I've heard talk of them moving it to a different city for each day of the draft. Stupid, imo. Just move it to a different city, where it stays for that year's draft.

I always enjoyed the NFL more on TV than in person. I wonder if the draft would be the same way.

They should do it in Chicago. It'd be a madhouse.

Too bad the draft starts on a Thursday or something so a weekend trip would only be good to watch the later rounds.

If they moved the first round back to a Saturday & had it in Vegas I might have to go. Just a 9 or 10 hour drive for me.

I just don't see the appeal of sitting in a theatre watching the draft. I like doing other things while watching. watching buffoons go crazy over players they never heard of getting drafted isn't my environment

Well that sucks. I think my wife would let me go to Chicago for it as there would be plenty of things she likes to do there. Plus LA makes very little sense considering there isn't even an NFL team in the city (yet). Maybe this is Goodell's way of trying to get LA people excited about the NFL but I would rather see it in a football town like Chicago that actually loves football!

Microsoft event at the united center? Didnt hear of that, but the only reason New York isnt getting it is they expanded to 4 days and cant get the four in a row there either. sure sounds like mccormick place or the rosemont convention center would be more microsoft friendly. nothing coming up on a search for chicago event for microsoft though other than save the week of May 4th open on the schedule.

Kinda think football would trump microsoft at the united center. maybe worried there are not enough hotel rooms?

Good. All those mouth breathers yelling "what" all the time made me want to lock the doors and set the place on fire
