Damn talk about a tough start to the season. We end the season with some easier games.

I hate that we start the season on Late Monday night game. Thanks NFL

Looks like a much easier schedule than the last 2 years honestly. A lot of our tougher out of conference games will be at home.

I have us going 11-5! Besides vs GB and vs the Hawks twice I think we can win all the other games.

I just hate that we open on Late monday night game(I love opening weekend and now I have to wait an extra day.) and play the Giants sunday night. Im from jersey and will be going to that game. I guess I have to take Monday off.

overall not bad. tough start of the season but easier to end the season. Yes most tough Out of Conference games are home so that is good.

On a quick view I think SF's schedule lays out as difficult. In the 1st 8 games, only 2 are what I would say are pretty much for sure wins.
In the last 5 games, 3 of them are 10am road games.

You are optimistic. I can't make any kind of prediction this year. Too many variables and alot hinges on how the young players perform. The defense could get worse and the offense could get better.

Lynch had a great take on KNBR yesterday about last season's offensive struggles. Things I haven't heard before.

Please post Link. I haven't seen it. Love to read about it. I feel good because we are healthy. If Healthy we don't go 8-8 last year that is why I think we have a shot.

Accurate at this moment IMO. 5 games at 10:00 am on the road didn't bother me as much in the recent past as this season will when picking games. Currently I have the 9ers going 7-9 this season. Maybe some draft picks might change that by a game or two. Hope I'm wrong.

I think alot of it will depend on how some of the young guys recently drafted (Dial, Tank, Johnson, Acker, Hyde, Thomas) perform. Many of these players who had limited minutes will now be asked make significant contributions. The coaching staff is the other big unknown.

I couldn't access KNBR today. Kevin Lynch was with Tom Tolbert yesterday and if you go to KNBR podcasts, that show should be there. What Lynch basically said was there were too many people involved in the playcalling and that this structure really started falling apart last year. He said the playcalling coaches were basically fighting to get their plays called, possibly to advance their careers and because they thought they were best to help the team. (it was something to the effect). I never heard that before.

You can understand why some would come to the conclusion. At the same time, it really doesn't matter. Predictions are meaningless. They don't affect what happens on the field.

The 9ers are a tough team to predict. I say that the odds are that they will fail. Reliance upon unproven's is a real concern.
Coaching staff is also a big unknown.
The team might completely turnaround.
Might not.

Yeah but 4-12 no way. This team still has a lot of talent. I see at worst 8-8 if injuries happen and the coaching staff falls apart.
