some quick notes:
Kings open the season at home against San Jose, the first of 5 straight home games. They play 12 of their first 17 games on the road.
There are two long stretches away from Staples. In December & February. The Kings play 10 of 11 on the road in December (their only home game in that stretch is against SJ right before the Christmas break). They also have a 7 game road swing in February, but that's pretty common. The Kings follow the 7 game road trip with 8 of 9 at home.
