Probably be Reimold in Left with Kim 4th OF.
Still not sold on Reimold taking over for Kim yet. I guess we will see on opening day.

I'm guessing with Alvarez, he'll likely be the DH and Trumbo will get a lot of time in RF. So I guess the lineup will look something like this:
1. Machado 3B
2. Kim LF
3. Jones CF
4. Davis 1B
5. Alvarez DH
6. Trumbo RF
7. Wieters C
8. Schoop 2B
9. Hardy SS
I'd make two tweaks to this lineup:
a) Until Kim adjusts to major league pitching, it might make more sense to bat him 9th and move up everyone else.
b) Another option to consider is starting Trumbo at 1B and moving Davis to RF...
Not sold on either really. However, Nolan has more experience and Kim isn't looking to hot.
I'm just hoping that for Kim, it's just shaking off the rust and trying to adjust to MLB pitching. I just think Nolan has had plenty of opportunities but can't ever capitalize on them so it's time for something different.
What about Walker? Can he play left?
the o's are getting calls about walker and mancini both could play of in a pinch . the o's aren't looking to move either one from firstbase tells me davis in a few years will be dh . if they are on fire with the bat davis may move to of . richards sp? and nolan will be on this team .What about Walker? Can he play left?
trey should start at bowie . walker will be at first in norfolk . i still think they both will stay at first . we all wonder if davis will be davis or adam dunn with that huge payday ?I don't know about high school, but Walker played .1 of an inning at 3B in 2014 though he was listed as a 1B/3B at the University of South Carolina.
Mancini has not played anything but 1B/DH as a pro and at Notre Dame.
If they are both at Norfolk this season, they both need to get some practice and game time in the OF.
hell i would rather take nolan over murphy who isn't worth much anyway .
- In other AL East news from earlier today, David Murphy opted out of his minor league contract with the Red Sox and is already drawing interest from the Orioles and other clubs….the Orioles have discussed releasing Hyun Soo Kim from his two-year contract.
What are the Orioles going to do?
The O's signed a contract with him that included no minor league options. Huge mistake on their part. But a seasoned MLB manager has sat down with him at least three times and told him that he is not ready to play in MLB yet. The O's will pay him the entire $7 million and all he has to do is go to Norfolk and prove that he can hit MLB quality pitching consistently and field his position. Same money, same opportunity once he earns that opportunity. Makes zero sense to me why he wouldn't go there and earn his way back to the big club.
Sounds like Kim is too proud to go to the minors, but it's obvious he can't hit MLB pitching yet.The O's signed a contract with him that included no minor league options. Huge mistake on their part. it's sad when you can't hit the chese . i bet he would never get a breaking ball . most players can hit the straight stuff but not kim .Sounds like Kim is too proud to go to the minors, but it's obvious he can't hit MLB pitching yet.
