Two games against Vancouver to start the season - That's gonna be fun.

Interesting tidbit on the Flyers schedule is that they don't play Pittsburgh until later in January, usually they play them relatively early on

Wings better have a nice playoff cushion entering April because backing into the playoffs again this year is going to be tougher to pull off. Last year the Wings finished the schedule with 8 of the last 12 at home and 2 of their last 3 against Carolina. This year they finish the year with 4 of their last 6 on the road against tough teams they don't match up particularly well with.

From November 1st through Christmas the Wings play 17 of 23 games at home and only 6 on the road. After Christmas through the beginning of February they play 13 of 17 on the road and only 4 at home. I would've liked to have seen a little better balance through the middle of the schedule.

The Wings see the Blackhawks only twice a year now, but the Wings play back-to-back games against them March 2nd & 6th. Oddity.
