Spurs were held to 90 points or fewer in 3 of the 4 games vs the Warriors. They're going to lose in 5 if that trend keeps up

It is just weird playing these completely meaningless games...but I would like to win one

I am guessing they lose to OKC and Dallas as well, not playing anyone.

Honestly Pop would have been better off sitting his starters in both games vs the Warriors this week. These 2 games especially this game will have the Warriors feeling amazing heading into a series

It was impossible for POP.....they were stuck for 3 weeks playing exhibition ball.

Aldridge got hurt.
Diaw got hurt.
Duncan might be hurt.

And the games were 100% completely meaningless which sucks.

It does but it also have the Warriors feeling like there's no way this team can beat us 4 of 7.

If the Spurs happens to find out how to shoot in the mid 40's against the Warriors, we would have a really interesting series. Otherwise it will be a dud

In the playoffs, the game becomes a little more physical (even now) and slows down a bit, which favors the Spurs. Plus, as Horns pointed out, this was a meaningless game for the Spurs. They give no fucks about 73 wins or being unbeaten at home.

I'm not saying GSW won't beat them in the playoffs, but saying it's likely to be a short series because of a couple of games the Spurs didn't care about and weren't at full strength for, is overreacting.

I still see it as a toss up if they meet in the playoffs.

I understand and agree with all your points. My comment was about the entire season series. Not just these 2 games. If I'm not mistaken, the Spurs only shot over 41% against them once in a game this season and they were held to 90 points or fewer 3X. They need to figure it out on the offensive end against this team. I have faith in Pop that he will but if he doesn't, I think the Warriors win in 5. The concerning thing for me is most teams usually play better and shoot better at home but the Spurs don't play better or shoot better at home when the play the Warriors. The only thing that is better is their defense

Aldridge was an allstar
