The Nationals are 9-1? WTF? Somebody has more confidence in Matt Williams than Id suggest. (Or they think SS and Harper might actually play full seasons)

Wonder what the odds of the Red Sox winning it this year were one year ago. They had to have been quite a long shot.

Tigers being 8-1 is a stretch too. Seeing as they don't currently have a second baseman or manager.

Obviously a lot is going to change between now and opening day, these odds are good for the occasional gambler. More for fun than anything.

There is hope coming there at 2B, but probably not for another 2 years. I say that, as they named a 2B as their minor league player of the year this year.

Devon Travis, who spent the season split between Class A West Michigan and Class A Advanced Lakeland, batted .351 with 16 home runs and 76 RBIs in 132 games. The 22-year-old, who was a 13th-round pick in the 2012 First-Year Player Draft out of Florida State, was selected for the Midwest League midseason and postseason All-Star teams.
The Tigers have chosen Travis to be one of their five representatives in the Arizona Fall League and he will begin play with the Mesa Solar Sox on Oct. 8.

I live relatively close to FifthThird park where the WhiteCaps play home games. I listen to all the day games on the radio and follow along relatively closely thru other media outlets. He seems to be a nice player. A never young nice player though. But Casey Crosby was once named Tigers minor league player of year. (While at Single A West Michigan). And he's no prospect these days. I was getting at Omar Infante being a Free Agent. Hopefully he's re-upped, if not, were looking at a scab most likely. (Scott Sizemore was recently our "second baseman of the future". Didn't work out so well.)

The best longshot bet of the bunch, imo, is the Royals at 35-1. They played really well in the 2nd half of the season
