Opening night for Phoenix is at home against the Lakers.

We get 6 games on TNT, 4 on ESPN and 7 on NBA TV. Much better than last year... about time we get some recognition.

I looked at some other teams' schedules and saw that they all have really tough stretches... then I just realized the trend... they were all Western Conference teams.

Now that Miami has been blown up, there might not be a championship in the east for a while. The cavs with love would be the favorite but even that is not a given. If Ray Allen had not hit that last second shot in game six, the heat would have walked away from that experiment being considered a failure.

If Rose stays healthy, then the Bulls can definitely compete. As far as the Cavs go, I don't think that they will have the defense to win a title.
