No. 55: With their first selection in this year's draft, the Predators chose Russian forwardYakov Trenin from Gatineau of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He had 18 goals and 67 points last season and said he will play for the Olympiques again next season.

No. 85: Nashville selected forward Thomas Novak from Waterloo of the United States Hockey League. He has committed to play at the University of Minnesota next season and actually skipped class to be at the draft this weekend.

No. 100: Next up was Anthony Richard, a 5-foot-10 center who last played in the QMJHL. He scored 43 goals for Val-D'or.

No. 115: The Predators drafted a teammate of Trenin's, defenseman Alexandre Carrier, with their second pick in the fourth round.

No. 145: Nashville took its first goaltender of the draft in the fifth round by selecting Karel Vejmelka.

No. 175: With their sixth-round pick, the Predators drafted Harvard's Tyler Moy.

No. 205: The team's final pick of the 2015 draft was Evan Smith, a goaltender who played for Austin of the North American Hockey League.
