Utah State is incredibly similar to San Jose State in that they're in their first year in the MWC following an incredible year with a new coach, yet a playmaker at the quarterback position. Utah State has made a lot of progress under Gary Anderson, will be interesting to see if that continues without him, needless to say they're actually a threat to beat their rivals Utah and BYU now.

Before I cast a vote, do you happen to know how many guys graduated from last year's team?

Utah State looks awesome in those new unis. Remind me of the old Dallas Cowboys when Staubach played. In the good ole days! lol

Well, that's more than I thought. Okay, let me ponder it for a few minutes and then I'll vote.

Okay, I voted 9-3. I see them losing to 3 of USC, SJSU, Boise State and BYU, though they could lose all 4 or get upset once.

I think 9-3 is doable but it won't be easy.

@ Utah is another challenge too

I think they split the rivalry games with Utah and BYU

then beat either SJSU, USC or Boise State

don't be surprised if it's USC, after all this guy

    is their coach

Yeah, I took that into consideration. The only guy on the planet who can't beat Paul Johnson in a bowl game. Pathetic. Lost by 2 TDs to an offense that burned out about 50+ years ago.

Out of those 4 I mentioned above I expect they have the best shot at beating USC! That would be funny if I didn't have so much respect for USC.

LOL!! not to mention only scoring 7 points with an offense full of NFL talent against a defense that had given up 68 points to your Tar Heels during the season I believe

LOL, it is funny sir, more of a shot at Lane Kiffin though, it's kinda sad USC kept him around for another year, I too have a lot of respect for USC

I guess they figure he's a USC alum (isn't he? I'm not sure) so they are giving him one more chance.

I went 6-6 they start out going 1-6 there only win in those 7 games will be Weber State. Then after that it's gravy. They have a tough schedule for a MWC team.[IMG]

I have been following this team the last couple seasons, and have been really impressed with the never say die attitude. No matter who the opponent is, they feel they should win.

Eric Schultz (RT) is from my home town and I have known him since he was a little *relatively speaking* tyke. I state this, so everyone may know that the next statement may be a little biased. I think the strength of this team is an experienced offensive line that has led the way to getting 3 RBs drafted over the last 2 seasons (Robert Turbin, Seattle 2012.4.106; Michael Smith, Tampa Bay 2012.7.212; Kerwynn Williams, Indianapolis 2013.7.230). These guys are not going to be intimidated and will control the LOS, a couple of these guys could find themselves in the mix for the 2014 draft.
