The only good news is that at least it is reviewable. I understand player safety and all that but an automatic ejection on a situation that not only is usually a judgement call but also something that usually happens because bodies are moving so fast and not in the same place they were when the defender was going to hit them. So Kenny Bell would have been immediately ejected in the Big 10 title game for a terrible call that was a legal hit? What an absolute joke!!!!!

Not only would Kenny Bell have been ejected in the Big 10 title game but since it happened in the second half he wouldn't have been able to play in the first half of the bowl game.

Yeah, I saw that. That is good. The guy at the Big 10 said it still would have been a penalty just not a suspension. Good that it wouldn't have been a suspension but that definitely should NOT have been a penalty.

If they are going to dole out the in game suspensions they really need to look at the tapes and review the hit, not use the rule to just toss some kid out that the ref got's beef with, or the coach. We all know that could never happen in today's age of professionalism, right Big XII
