Cowboys are right up against the cap so they likely won't be players in free agency. Their OL could use a major upgrade and there are a couple of good ones available. I have no faith they'll hit with their draft picks. They are behind maybe the Raiders and Jets for draft busts in past 15 years or so.

Following his release, Gamble told his agent Carl Poston that he wants to focus on “life after football.”

“A number of teams have expressed interest in Chris Gamble. However, Chris informed me last night that he wants to retire,” Gamble told Anderson. “Even though he still loves football, he told me that he’s decided to focus on life after football. Chris has been a class act. I have represented him for nine years, ever since he came out of Ohio State. He’s been an ideal client and he was one of the best corners in game. He’s doing it the right way. He has taken care of his money and his investments to retire successfully, and now I wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

I'm interested to see what the Patriots do in free agency. It seems like every year they make moves that turn out to be amazing even though they don't get huge names (ocho-cinco excluded).

I'm also interested in seeing how Buffalo waste their money this season. Can't wait for this train to get rollin.

issue for me is if Steelers can manage to restructure Woodley today to make room to sign K Lewis before anyone else can. Next season is going to suck to begin with, in a way I almost wish they'd had the common sense to see you can't hold that post SB roster together forever ... a bit sooner. Oh well, hopefully they'll learn and actually start trusting/playing rookies sooner once LeBeau retires.
