The tournament kicks off tomorrow in Champaign. For those not in the know, Virginia is undefeated and the heavy favorite. UCLA is the #1 seed because of a strange computer system. Ohio State (#4) and USC (#5) are the two other real title competitors. Georgia (#3) could have been a potential challenger, but their best player quit the team.
I may or may not head out to watch it for a day or two. Unfortunately, this is the highest level team tennis in the world. Team tennis where the players are truly invested (unlike Davis Cup or WTT) is a great thing to watch. It makes me miss my days as a high school tennis star.
