2013 Giants Memories

Another year come and gone

The Champs started off strong

Walk off memories early and often

Buster Posey

Quiroz

Angel Pagan in the park Home Run

Injuries happen and the they happened

Giants fought hard but it would not be

Something happened though near the end

The team came back together again

and pushed hard near the end

Lincecum threw a No-No

in San Diego ...it was quite a show

Hunter Pence made a ton of new friends

He lit it up and carried the team

Petit came within one out of a dream

Some days it felt like they would be World Series champs once again

Reality set in as September was for the kids

They shined and it was fun to see them

Perez, Abreu, Belt and his new grip

This year was quite a trip

It was a journey

a magic carpet ride

as kids slid down the Coke slide

There is always hope

as Zito spoke

Memories that last ...last forever

Baseball or a family gathering

Giants baseball is a family in a every way

as 41,000 get together each home day

We scream and cheer

and have some beers

and remember those

And how could you forget Petit's game? Not sure it will stand the test of time like Timmeh or Pagan, but DAYUM, that was impressive.

Then again, 25 years later and I still remember Scottie's game. (Doesn't hurt that I was actually at that one, though)
