as an unbiased outsider to this conversation....

Alabama was IMO at least 10 points better than auburn on a neutral field

Alabama should have certainly won the iron bowl but completely imploded in the fourth quarter

Alabama would have won this game tonight. forget their bowl game, they clearly didn't give a shit about playing Oklahoma in whatever the fuck bcs bowl that was. just as I only watch one bowl game every year, they know as I do that there is only one game that matters

that's also the reason why college bball is so much better, IMO

The way BCS Bowls have gone, I am leaning towards taking Auburn and the 8.5.

The way my picks went on Wild Card weekend, including the two Bowl Games, I'm leaning towards taking bribes from the two fan bases to not pick either team!

I knew I should have taken the 8.5. Took the over instead and lost.

Give OU credit though: Stoops and his boys came in with a great game plan and played lights-out for the whole game. Bama came in with a lot of focus and played hard, but turnovers killed any chances they had of winning that game.

Not sure why Bama finds ways to lose BCS bowl games that don't determine who takes the crystal football ... but they just seem to do so, especially when they're so close to playing for the crystal football late in the season and then lose.

Perhaps that's why they did so well against MSU a few years back - they were completely out of the running for playing for a NC that season.
