Im also going through one of the worst football withdrawls I think Ive ever been through. I was bored and seeking something husker football so I looked at prospects for next years recruiting. Along with the 2 E$PN150 watch listers we already have committed to us, there are 14 other watch listers considering nebraska. Is that alot compared to past years? It seems like with a solid year next year we could bring in a top 15 class.

title run in 2010...The MOST losses we have next year will be 2..I just think this team is playing with a huge chip on their shoulders coming into next year and will want revenge, especially on Texa$.

I like the Cornhuskers chances to win the big12, it wont be easy, but I think we got a good shot. And if we can get through the OOC (washington mostly) I think we could run the table. Or even compete for the national title with 1 loss.

I have been sayin it for a while now.....next year is the year. I know most Husker fans are predicting we lose some games just to be on the safe side....but we don't have to do that anymore. Callahan is not here anymore, no need to predict a 3-loss confidence building season this time.

I am predicting Nebraska runs the table, and I don't care who disagrees with me. In previous years I have never been crazy with my predictions, including 2008 when I predicted 4 losses and 2009 when I predicted 3.....and all the Callahan seasons where I predicted at best a 3-loss season and sometimes 5 and 6-loss seasons. The last time I predicted Nebraska runs the table was in 2001.

2010 Nebraska will do it. Yes, I am being realistic.

JJM, I agree with you. After this year and we have seen what direction this program is going under coach Pelini I think its safe for us Husker fans to start predicting 0, 1 type loss seasons. I think this year could be THE year, but I am still skeptical with our offense, although I like the fact everyone is returning on it I am still uncertain if this is the offensive group to get us going...Defense I am stoked about because I dont think they will miss a beat. Suh will be a big loss of course, but I think we can reload, we have depth on the line..

2010-2011 and 2011-2012 seasons will be very special I think for Nebraska, and these next two years will just be the beggining of what is to come. I haven't been this excited about an upcoming season in a long time. Its not just hope anymore, its almost confidence that we wil lfinally get it done.

I think next year is the coming out party with a BCS game. Then 2011 is the year we are absolutely for real NC favorites.

I like being able to state my opinion without amutiger comin on and sayin that nebraska wont even win the north..

btw: real simple. anything less than a big 12 title next year would be a disappointment- not a failure. the offense needs to be consistent week in and week out. the jury is still out on that one. the schedule is verrrrrry favorable.

I find it quite coincidental that you're so familiar with our offense {shady on the Disney board has been very critical of Nebraska's offense} while you believe our defense will be average without Suh.
