2010-2011 Basketball Season

Northern Iowa - Was a little nervous going into this one, particularly with the new lineup. Gotten even more worried when the Orange only put up 4 points during the 1st 10 minutes of the game. Thankfully, NI only scored 5.

First half lead 23 - 20

Cuse came out hot in the second half (thanks to an early 3-pointer by Kris Joseph) and ran away with it 68 - 46.

New guys C.J. Fair and Dion Waiters played exceptionally well off the bench combining for 16 points.

A real good win to start the season.

apparently the Detroit coaches son was a top recruit and he chose to play at Detroit, don't worry sir, Detroit is a possible tournament team.

After watching the game against William and Mary this afternoon, I couldn't agree more.
I'll be surprised if this team makes the tourney this year.

Anyway, looking forward to tonight's game against Michigan. It looks like they are evenly matched up so it should be another tester for the Orange.

It's been a long time since the Orange played Michigan ('98) and I hope the result is the same as last time.

"We hadn't played well for five games and won," he said. "Tonight, we played well and we won."

Georgia Tech did lose to Kennesaw State by 20 though. still good to see you guys put in a full performance especially after struggling with Michigan, that was probably your worst performance of the year.

Teams like to shoot the 3 against the zone and if they make 'em there's nothing you can do about it. Michigan and G Tech were hitting their 3s in the 1st half but went cold in the 2nd. I mean shit, G Tech went 8-24 and Michigan went 8-32 from beyond the arc. C'mon man, play some fucking ball!
