So I took my car to get washed and apparently someone was rough with my key cylinder because my key refused to turn afterward. It's not the key because it still opens the doors just fine. Decided to just buy the entire ignition assembly since I wasn't too keen on fiddling with the cylinder and I'm not any good at working on cars.
Anyway, I buy the assembly and install the new one but the new one did not come with an immobilizer included. I added the old immobilizer to the new assembly but the new key refuses to turn in the new assembly and I'm not sure why.
Can anyone help me out? Luckily I have another car to get me to work but I still would like to fix this asap.
