Lotta idiots calling Finch a sore winner online complaining in a win

It’s a no brainer. Wemby was called for 0 goaltends. So worst case things stay the same

Bringing it up the way the whole internet has about how many weee missed. Brings attention to it for future games

The key to limiting Wemby impact on defense is to have 5 offensive players in the game and put him in every action far from the basket

If okc and the spurs play, okc may be best to bench Hartenstein and use Chet at the 5

He complained after game 1 of Nuggets as well and it had a positive impact. Delecate balance to complain at right time, but not too often.

I just don’t see Daigneault deviating from playing at least 10. But yeah there will be some minutes like that for sure. They have 3 different lineups. 2 bigs, 1 big or no bigs and all of those lineups can have variations.

2 bigs is Wemby dream. Can roam around and protect the paint. 0 or 1 big if you’re able to is the way to go imo. Not like Wemby can dominate anyone smaller offensively

I think that or going right at him with a guy who is strong and can score in the post.

And put somebody like Dort on Wemby
Or Jdub if healthy. Chet is not going to guard him he has to be free off the ball.

Right but he wasn’t even in the vicinity of th ball, he had entire arm hammered on that play. Crazy

You also have to factor that the refs aren’t seeing it from the same angle as the camera.

The closest official is under the basket. The trail officials have the best angle there but are far away.

Yes, you would hope that the refs would get that call right, but it is not easy. Anyone who has officiated basketball before knows how difficult it actually is.

>Obviously I don't follow the Wolves like you do but from my vantage point Finch seems like an above average coach, based on recent playoff runs.
>The T Wolves fans remind me a ton of Detroit Tigers fans

So you're some big homer if you dare to suggest that Finch is "above average?" I'd say that's a perfect description.

And why is my baseball team being pulled into this? Do Tigers fans worship AJ Hinch? Do they worship ANY manager?

I don't get what people are watching here. Wemby doesn't leave the paint . He stands there and plays zone and blocks any action around the basket while the rest of the guys handle the perimeter. There is no "action far from the basket" because he's not playing man and isn't going to be pulled away. Everyone keeps typing out gameplans that involve Wemby guarding a single player...are these folks watching the games?

TIgers fans have a notorious reputation for thinking their managers are the only thing preventing success.

AJ Hinch is at worst a top 10 manager, people frustrated this year with him and Detroit is down nearly their entire rotation.

I dont think Finch is the only thing limiting success, not a coach out there that gets this team better than the Thunder. My main complaint is he refuses to give minutes to their young players because his rotations are Thibs level.

The teams ceiling is clear, and Wolves have a coach to maximize the existing players and bury any potential players.

It may be no young player ever becomes something that moves the needle, but with Finch it is a guarantee.

Yeah pairing him with another talented big would be crazy.

But you look at what they signed Fox to and the fact that Kornet was their target and signed him long term as well and you wonder if the people who run the Spurs organization had a stroke or something.

:drum:
