I tell you what, I really think they need less Drummond in this matchup.

They need less of him in all of the matchups if he can't figure out how to catch the damn ball when it's passed to him.

He missed 27 games.

And I don’t think he missed any before he got hurt.

He didn't. In fact, many in the media were commenting that they didn't think it was a good idea for him to be doing that at his age.

He flops. He sometimes embellishes contact to try to get whistles from the refs. Sometimes he even lets you know about minor injuries he is playing through by wearing very obviously wraps/splints to press conferences.

But he doesn’t miss games for no reason.

That opinion is very easily disproved by looking at his playing history.
This.

The Warriors lost to the Lakers and Grizzlies, missing the playoffs.....LOL
They definitely deserve your scorn and derision. It was a serious choke job by the Warriors.

No one can fully stop Lebron- but the Suns do have some solid athletic wings that they can throw at him like Crowder, Johnson, and Bridges.

I gotta say- Lakers 3 pt shooting isnt that impressive. KCP is going to have to do better than 1/7 from 3.

Lakers are the favorites and definitely deserve to be with James and Davis- but if those 2 combine for 31 pts on 40 shots the Lakers are in trouble.

regular season I would rather have Schroeder- playoffs give me Rondo all day everyday.

For some of the Drummond hate on here- and while he definitely hurts spacing, he certainly played a lot better than Kuzma. Drummond played a fairly efficient 19 minutes.

i dunno. Warriors just arent that explosive or athletic outside of Curry.

Memphis doesnt have very many names but they have some guys that can make plays and get up and down the court.

Draymond Green cannot be your 2nd best player in 2021. Not gonna work.

if they get a top 5 pick in this draft it could be huge. There are at least 5 players in this draft that have big time potential. It would be intersting to see if they got #5 and Mobley was the guy left. I bet they would draft him and trade Wiseman in about 5 seconds.

gotta think Paul does a lot better next game--- as of course LeBron and Davis will too.

Davis vs. Ayton will be interesting. Seems like Ayton has been there a while but he is still only 22 years old. Davis has to be solidly better then Ayton on a night to night basis in this series- and really- more than anything- Davis has to sack up and play center - we know he doesnt like to do that and struggles with that physicality, but the team is clearly better when they can play smaller and Davis plays center.

Suns bench really isnt very impressive.

can LeBron cover Booker?

He is going to have to for stretches longer than he probably wants to.

I think it will be Lakers in 6- but this is why I just dont think the Lakers do it this year. They had to work their asses off against the Warriors- and now will have to really work hard against the Suns- and it wont get any easier later on. LeBron could count on an easy first series in Miami and Cleveland where his team usually swept or close to it. Its going to be a dogfight for them every series- and LeBron isnt 26 anymore.

I tell you what, I really think they need less Drummond in this matchup.

He is just in the way. His stat line was fine today, but the offense is out of synch when he is on the floor.

I would like to see Gasol play a bit alongside AD. His skills open up the offense and allow LeBron and AD to get to the spots where they are comfortable.

Drummond will be needed against Utah and Philly. Until then, he really needs to take a back seat.

Vogel is really dumb in how he plays him. They needed to pick Drummond up because they did need another Center past Gasol who does have short comings and was a little dinged up. But Vogel keeps playing Drummond starter minutes and it doesn't work at all. Every line up fails. He's DNPing Gasol. Trezz got his minutes cut. Kief is getting DNP'd. All to force Drummond into a starter's role when all he's needed for is situational roles. Gasol needs to play more, specifically when Lebron rests because Gasol's passing ability (the one thing he's still good at in his old age) keeps things moving along. Davis needs to be the 5 most of the time and he should be playing next to Kief or Kuz or Trez if he's playing well. Drummond really should be getting like 10 to 12 mins max and in some games, he should be DNP'd. He should be filling the McGee/Howard role from last year but Vogel is foolishly using him like he's some all star center.
