Dallas deserves a lot of credit.....they were .500 at one point this season, I think 24-24 or something like that and then just took off and started balling.....Luka is a freaking stud, Porzy is a good #2 and Hardaway is providing another scorer.....plus like TJ12 said the Clippers defense has been less than stellar.

Biggest mismatch in this series is on the sidelines. Lue is a joke.

I think Carlisle is one of the more underrated coaches in the League. He doesn't get much respect IMO.

To be fair, Lue didn't put this roster together. He's just coaching the team he was given. The Clippers don't have a leader other than Rondo and he hasn't been there long enough.

Don't get me wrong, I think Vogel is a better coach than Lue, but I don't think he's better enough for that to be the difference, or at least not most of it. The Lakers have an undisputed, unquestioned leader in Lebron. The Clips don't. Imo, that's the difference.

Tell me the Mavs aren’t running the same sets from 6 years ago? With a completely different roster?

If they are, then we have probably overestimated Carlisle as a coach.

The reality is that Rondo can probably do that against any team he sees more than 4-5 times in a season.

The theory is that it's a "must win" because if they go down 0-3, they will likely get swept and Ballmer will blow up the team. So they figure that will make them respond and play with some urgency.

Although, I'm not sure what the Clippers have done in the playoffs between last season and this that would have someone thinking they will actually stand up and respond.
