Rondo is probably wondering the same thing. I guess he was barkin' at folks last night. You know the Clips being terrible at closing games has got to be driving him nuts.

It's not even their offense necessarily (although it's been bad late in games too)...how the hell do you have 2 of the best wing defenders in the game, score 121 points at home and still lose?

The Lakers can't think that way. Payne stepped up quite a few times last night, as did a few other guys and Booker was Booker. If the Lakers think this series is over, they'll get beat.

They have HCA now and need to keep it and end this series asap.

No, he's not. But, like many of his teammates, he's young, talented and hasCP3 in his ear to help him. Close game or not, the Lakers probably shook the Suns confidence a little by taking HCA. CP or no CP, I don't think they can afford to let the Suns get HCA back.

To be fair, Lue didn't put this roster together. He's just coaching the team he was given. The Clippers don't have a leader other than Rondo and he hasn't been there long enough.

Don't get me wrong, I think Vogel is a better coach than Lue, but I don't think he's better enough for that to be the difference, or at least not most of it. The Lakers have an undisputed, unquestioned leader in Lebron. The Clips don't. Imo, that's the difference.

I agree. They need to end it as soon as possible.....the Lakers are an older team and don't need a bunch of long series after the short turnaround between seasons.
