I think 1988 could give it a run

Tim Brown
Sterling Sharpe
Michael Irvin
Anthony Miller
Flipper Anderson
Brett Perriman
Michael Haynes
Brian Blades
Quinn Early
A couple of HOFers & one that should have been (Sharpe)
10 WRs that started at least 5 years in this class.

edit: just checked stats & I think 96' is the only other year that can claim 10 WRs starting 5 years or more from draft class.

you probably nailed this one.
1969 was pretty good too, but think 83 beats it.
OJ Simpson
Calvin Hill
Mercury Morris
Larry Brown
Ed Podolak
Ron Johnson
Altie Taylor
Carl Garrett

All but Morris started 5 years or more. Morris split time in the million dollar backfield & the undefeated dolphins.

and then theres this but before mosts time

1. 1952

Notables: Ollie Matson (first round, No. 3 overall, Chicago Cardinals); Ed Modzelewski (first round, No. 6 overall, Pittsburgh Steelers); Hugh McElhenny (first round, No. 9 overall, San Francisco 49ers); Frank Gifford (first round, No. 11 overall, New York Giants).

Three Pro Football Hall of Fame running backs were selected in the first 11 picks of the 1952 draft, making it the only class ever with the ability to claim three RB honorees. Matson, McElhenny and Gifford were named Pro Bowlers a combined 20 times. And they weren't just ball carriers, either. All three had more than 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns receiving in an era in which passing wasn't as prolific as it is today.

He had a 1,000 yard receiving season at age 40. Who does that? LOL.

Edit: Looked it up. It was 1,211 yards. Crazy.

The defense was still allowed to light up WRs back then too. He was special.

Jerry Rice was just built differently than any other WR. It almost feels like he went out there at age 40 and got 1,211 receiving yards with Rich Gannon as his QB to prove that his greatness wasn't just the product of the Niners, Joe Montana, and Steve Young.

Too bad Curt Warner's career was cut short... He was amazing...

Also, I think Craig James was in that class too... He wasn't that bad...

I think it's a shame Sterling Sharpe isn't in the HOF. I'm bored so I looked some stuff up. He played 7 years and never missed a game before an injury ended his career. Before Favre got there in '92 he made 2 Pro Bowl's with Don Majkowski, Anthong Dilweg, Blair Kiel & Mike Tomczak throwing him the ball. Five 1,100+ yards seasons. Led the league in catches 3x, TD's twice, yards once and was 5x Pro Bowler (3x All Pro).
