Anybody willing to take that bet? I might put a little down on that. 16-1 same as the Chargers and the Jets? As things stand right now that's kind of laughable. But overall I'd say 16-1 is pretty fair for the Niners.

I would wait to see who we re-sign, who we pick up in free agency, and who we draft.

I don't think this line will move much, unless we signed Peyton because that would be perceived by the betting world that we greatly improved the QB position.


If the defense stays intact, and we re-sign Alex plus a top shelf WR (which might put us right up against the cap), then I'd take this bet in a heartbeat.

cause what would make it go higher.....Alex Smith doesn't re-sign? but we know its win-win so its highly likely he will. it'll go higher because Rogers doesn't re-sign? Goldson? Brooks?

the giants have a harder time making the playoffs than winning a super bowl it seems.
