12 wins. Most since 1988.

Playoffs in 5 straight seasons.

Pro-bowlers on offense and defense.

The entire city is depressed. This team should have just moved in the 90s..... Even when things are good, our fans are miserable. And I'm not even blaming the fan base.... I'm miserable. If anyone thinks we even have a prayer of a shot next week, they should have their head examined. The Steelers are coming to town..... And it won't be pretty.

Any given Sunday...

Yeah, I'm not ordering the balloons and confetti, but you never know. Weird shit happens. We're going to need a HUGE day from the defense.

Hill needs to come up big for the first time all season. they need to play ball control offense and keep the ball away from Roethlisberger and those receivers

He should probably stick to writing about his colonoscopies. :)

I'm not sure if Dalton coming back is a good thing or a bad thing..... Seems like he'd be fighting three fights against the Steelers - Pittsbugh, his head (0-4 and miserable in the playoffs) and a bum thumb. Don't get me wrong - Dalton has been terrific this year..... And he's not the reason why we lost any of the games we lost. But it's a tough spot for the guy.

Pretty sure he was the reason we lost to Houston.

And of course Dalton will play. There is absolutely no pressure on him to win. If he loses, well, he was playing with an injured thumb, what did you expect?

I can't blame him for that game..... I thought the gameplan was awful. We didn't even try to run it on a bad run defense even though they dropped everyone in coverage. Eifert had three horrible drops that killed drives and AJ Green fumbled a first down on a drive that was setting up as the winning touchdown.

He did have a rough game. But if one player gets the goat label it would have to be AJ for the late fumble

Yeah, I guess there was plenty of blame to go around on that game.

He had his worst game as a pro. But Green coughed the ball up with the game on the line.I was confident they were going to finish that drive with a TD to steal win. Also it wasn't a fumble caused by a spectacular play by the defense, just a bad play by Green at the worst possible time

Dalton will get a free pass because 'he was injured' when he turns into a pussy and shits his pants like he does in games like this.

Steelers Andy + Primetime Andy = Bengal collapse of monumental proportions

Bengals get a late TD to make it 24-10

In all seriousness, it was an awesome season. Save for the Panthers, the Bengals were maybe the most surprising team of the season. Nothing more than tragic that it's going to come to this.

DeAngelo Williams left the game today with an injury. Roethlisberger has thrown multiple picks the past 3 games. Their secondary is vulnerable. They lost to the Ravens with their season still on the line 2 weeks ago. This is a winnable game

Very true..... Pittsburgh is not nearly as good as the media has pumped them up to be. They've been flawed on defense all year long and have been inconsistent on offense late in the season.

That said, the Steelers have been here before.... A flawed, inconsistent group that somehow finds ways to win games and move on. You could make the same arguments about them in 2005/6 when they won the super bowl.

Keep in mind, if the Bengals win on Saturday/Sunday, the Steelers haven't won a playoff game since Dalton has been in the league.

That 05 team had the best defense in football and a top flight running game. They were built for playoff football. Now it's an elite passing offense with question marks everywhere else.

I think they should be the favorites this weekend because of the Bengals QB issues. But I don't think it's an unwinnable game

Also a weird year in the AFC..... The top teams are flawed. The Patriots have gone 2-6 in in the back end. The Broncos look like the most flawed 1 seed I've ever seen. The Bengals have QB issues. Interesting year in the AFC. It's really just going to be a matter of who gets hot.

Yeah, I was thinking that when I was pointing out all the Steelers problems. They still have as good a shot as anyone to win this conference. None of these teams seem like SB caliber teams right now. If Dalton comes back at close to 100 percent (which i know is unlikely even if he plays) I might give the bengals an edge as the favorite

if we are going to run the ball we better set it up with the pass game. But I'm sure Hue will go up the gut cause it's what he does....he enjoys a good punt too. We'll get inventive when we get down a few TDs
