    I wouldn't swim in it. It's funny you go up by Yankton, South Dakota and the river looks crystal clear blue. Not the case down river by Omaha.

    they catch quite a few big ones, at the bend, a few miles west of KC. Seems they like the big turn in the river.

    Would eat under 10 lbers over the big ones, we caught over 200 lb of cats, 5 lb to 31 lb, the smaller were much better but thats only because we could compare them at the same time.

    That's a big catfish! i've never caught, cleaned, or eaten one that large, so I can't say.

    My largest is 67 lbs. and i cleaned it and ate it.

    I've eaten everything under that weight. All of them were good eatin'.
