I'm 100% just being a dick here, fwiw, but I do have to laugh a bit at it. I'm even surprised by what Book has done, and it's not like he's been beating up on UTEP.

He's not as talented as Wimbush. Wimbush is the better athlete, with the stronger arm. He just sucks at accuracy.

Seems to me those are the only two traits Wimbush has over him then, so I'm confused as to what makes Wimbush more talented.

He's more physcially gifted than Book is. He's stronger, more athletic and has a better arm. He has a higher ceiling. He's always struggled with accuracy and decision making. Wimbush was a top 50 recruit out of high school. When I think of talent I think of physical attributes. Book appears to have better decision making and more accuracy. Which is important for this team because our WR don't get great separation.

It sounds like Wimbush is simply a more talented athlete, but obviously not a more talented QB.

The debate between Ian Book or Brandon Wimbush is null and void when you look at their stats. Do you want an accurate QB to be your starter or do you want stronger QB to be your starter? Because that's essentially the difference. Book is more accurate while Wimbush had a stronger arm.

Wimbush had the potential to be a better QB based on those physcial attributes but he just never reached his potential. It makes me wonder why Book couldn't beat him out in the off-season? It is kinda funny because now we can say we beat Michigan with our backup QB and RB's. Lol.

I guess. But that's like saying Book had more potential because of the attributes he has. I think it's much easier to build a stronger arm than a stronger brain.

I actually am not sure you beat michigan with Book. Having the mobile QB helped immensely with them.

Only games I could see Bama losing is LSU and Auburn. ND has some trap games, FSU and USC. I will say that is NC State somehow beats Clemson, I think they have the easiest remaining schedule and they would automatically become the favorites to go undefeated.
I think NW has a better shot of beating ND than FSU or USC

I think we would have blown Michigan out worse than we did. Book is mobile enough, and probably has better awareness in the pocket. We did nothing is the 2nd half of that game. We've had great 2nd half performances since Book has started playing.

IDK, I can't get behind that. Northwestern lost to Akron. Even with their win against Michigan State, can't get behind them beating ND or even testing ND.

USF only won me beat UConn by 8...and only won my 8 points. That's a loss in my book.
