Exactly. All the real fans have to fight over the bleacher seats. The same thing has happened at Fenway.

As much as I bitch you can get decent seats in the main (Loge in the old stadium) level at decent prices if you avoid the ticketmaster markup.

Yup! And how come Spring Training innings don't count? Or how about pitches thrown before an inning starts? Or how about when they throw in the bullpen before a game? None of that puts stress on a pitcher's arm?

They also pitch between starts

Harvey was the one who needed to say "I don't know if I'll get this chance again, I'm pitching every 5 days" or the Mets hands are tied

This is what finally happened in Cincinnati the weekend when they clinched the division. Harvey went to Collins and said, "I want to pitch seven innings, is that okay with you and Sandy?" and Terry said, "Of course it's okay, it's your call...It's ALWAYS been your call."

That's one start. Look at it logically and tell me why Harvey isn't pitching game 2 other than restrictions.

Some guys care about winning. C.C. just entered rehab but in 2008, in a contract year he pitched over 250 innings, including short rest 3 straight starts to drag the Brewers into the playoffs.

His first year with the Yanks he pitched 260 including the playoffs and took them to a championship.

I wonder if his drinking comes from not being able to handle sucking

Ill respect CC when he announces his retirement because "My sobriety, my family and my life come first"

Cause I cant imagine its good for his rehabilitation to be on the road away from his family all summer, around hotel bars, and on charter flights with a bunch of guys drinking...

But no, he wont walk away from the 25 million, because money comes before all of it

Yeah, thats a joke too.....Talk about a sport thats unwatchable for an entire regular season

I haven't watched the NBA in years. Even March Madness sucks now(and that used to be my favorite event of the year). The unlimited timeouts and all the free throws and the whole blocking/charging call caused me to tune out. I've never even seen Steph Curry play as a pro.

To get extra rest for his wee wee?

Sadly, I found the NBA playoffs far more entertaining than the NHL ones last season. Especially the Finals.

Playoffs weren't bad for NBA. Rangers kept me interested, god forbid they don't go 7 games.

When he gets out they'll give him the Hamilton treatment on the road.

The hacking at the end (Especially with Deandre Jordan) is awful

In that case, the Brewers knew CC was a rental and they didn't give a shit what happened to him. So, he pitched on 3 days rest consistently for them. The Yankees probably should have been a little more gentle with him, though. But CC was a horse back in those days, too. He just seemed like an anomaly.

Yes. That's why the Yankees were so pissed off at Stubhub. Everyone knew they could buy tickets below face value and that the Yankees artificially high prices wouldn't stick.

Is it ironic that the Yankees got an alcoholic pitcher from the Brewers?

That's all it is. Fucking Boras setting the playoff rotation.

At the time C.C. agreed to do it. At the same time Cliff Lee would not and there were stories about it. C.C. always wanted the ball. Pitched close to 200 innings his first year as a 20 year old.

I'm waiting to hear specifically what happened to force his hand here. He certainly would/could have waited until the end of the season. I also mentioned yesterday that he could have gone to rehab while on the DL this year. Something crazy had to have happened over the last few days.

I just saw that tweet from Pete Abraham. That was the crowd at first pitch. Take from that what you wish.

It was pouring rain that whole day. What is so difficult to understand?

Yep. And as a guy with a lot of Met fan buddies (I live in in Flushing) it sucks. Met fans have been waiting for a winner for a long time and Boras gets to have this kind of impact?:wtf:
