The offense was the best in baseball during the regular season and now George Springer can't hit anything and the entire team is hitting what .150?

Yes the Yankees pitching has been solid but wow, where did this offense go?!?!?! Does anyone expect Verlander to pitch a gem again?

Is this over? I mean the Yankees only have to win 1 more game......

I am seeing a Dodgers v Yankees World Series

Yankees one win away from becoming the 5th team to beat two 100-win teams in one postseason. Joining the 2004 Red Sox, 2003 Marlins, 2001 Yankees, and 1988 Dodgers.

If the Dodgers wrap it up, they'll have a chance to be the first team to beat 3

Not over

But do feel very good about winning in 6

These offensive funks are very tough to break out of during a series

And like Kuechel, wouldn't surprise me if the Yanks have more success vs JV

Javy Baez 2 HR night was just the 5th multi-HR game in Cubs postseason history.

2003 NLCS Game 4: Aramis Ramirez
2003 NLCS Game 2: Alex Gonzalez
2003 NLDS Game 4: Eric Karros
1984 NLCS Game 2: Gary Matthews

5th time in team history the Yankees have struck out 13 times and won. And it's the 2nd time they've done it this postseason. Struck out 16 times in Game 5 of the ALDS.

OK stats dude, here is your challenge of the day. Has there ever been a regular season 104+-win team that had a losing streak equal to or longer than the Dodger's 11-game losing streak this year. Thanks for taking my call. I'll take your comments off the air.

They should have started Peacock yesterday. He was a much better road pitcher this year than Keuchel was. And now they have to win game 7 (assuming there is a game 7) with Morton on the hill.

So there you go... Series over. Yankees win

Nothing. Well, actually there are a few things wrong with stats. For one thing, they hold back the evolution of baseball because the stats are so sacred to baseball fans. Like, if stats weren't consumed and worshipped with such affection, baseball would probably move to a more reasonable schedule. Like maybe 130 games a year with a season that started in mid-April and ended in mid-September. But, as fans, we want our favorite players to have a fighting chance to break records held by players that played in 154 or 162 game format.

Baseball simply should not be played in the snow.

I mean they do have 2 games at home and the home teams won all the games at home in the series so they do

Yep and Sevy only going 4 probably helps him tomorrow. Some of the Stros only faced him once last Saturday
