Why is Wade hitting any higher than 7th in the lineup? Okay, okay, I get the fact that this lineup stinks. Still, having him hit leadoff doesn't help.

Of course, this is in Colorado - that is why a 5-7 deficit is almost like a 6-7 deficit for the Giants. However, its the Giants and its still a deficit.

While I would rather have a higher pick than a lower pick, draft position means almost nothing in the MLB draft. The cost to improve your draft position (lose and lose and lose) is not worth the micro-advantage that is gained by improved position.
