It would be nice to see Nunez hit a little higher in this lineup but Span will go nowhere, even as his bat goes nowhere. Pence, Posey and Crawford will stay put. The only possibility would be swapping Nunez for Belt.

That used to the norm. Other teams still do it today. Ventura with the Royals a few years back spent his first year plus in the pen.
