You tear the team up constantly, especially Whaley and the way that he's built the team so far. Mostly, it seems, over one trade (that may not even be that).
This 'new GM' was hired as our Assistant GM going into the 2010-11 off-season. Since then, we've gone through 3 tough rebuilding years...
If any lineman is going to be elite, it's going to be Flowers.
The rest aren't capable of pass blocking and are going to have a huge learning curve on their way to the big leagues
OT - Ereck Flowers - Miami
6’6” - 322 Lbs. - Junior
Pros:
- Quick off the line for a tackle.
- Shows good balance.
- Lengthy arms.
- Solid in pass protection.
- Makes it very hard for defenders to disengage.
- Efficient kick-slide.
Cons:
- Wide grip may lead to holding penalties.
- Allows...
Not for a bargain, at the right price rather.
He's a great running back, but he's your typical change of pace back. He deserves to go in the late 1st/early 2nd to a team that already has a power running work horse back.
RB - Melvin Gordon - Wisconsin
6’1” - 207 Lbs. - RS Junior
Pros:
- Very fast feet.
- Runs with great agility.
- Runs with great speed.
- Plays dynamic, creates big plays out of nothing.
- Fits through small holes.
- Excels in acceleration, goes 0-100 real quick.
- Continuously pumps his legs...
I see White as a better player.
What I'm noticing is that White has all the better receiving skills, but Cooper's speed and explosiveness makes him look like a more complete player.
I'd take White's skill set over Cooper's skill set.
Kevin White just ran a 4.35, that makes him my top receiver in the draft class.
He does everything better than Cooper except his speed and explosiveness, and that 4.35 was just extremely impressive.
I haven't watched anything on him yet, but he's looking like he may be a nice late round quarterback for us. If we miss on Grayson, Hundley, Mannion and Petty, Fajardo looks like he may be a decent option in the 5th-6th round just as an insurance policy.
Throwing the ball effortlessly at the...
EDGE/DE - Alvin Dupree - Kentucky
6’4” - 264 Lbs. - RS Senior
Pros:
- Quick off of the line.
- Executes his stunts well.
- Good size.
- Quick on his feet.
- Pursues the ball well.
- Lengthy, long arms.
- Plays well in zone coverage, knows his assignments.
- Great burst around the edge at...
Thoughts on Trae Waynes?
When I was watching, I really just saw potential. He looks like he can be a damn good cornerback, but without a #1 CB on your roster already, I'd stay away from him. He was a lockdown corner on his side of the field, but he seems as if he still needs time to grow. You...
I kind of like that trade for the 6ers, he eats cap space and they bring in another 1st. Who cares if there's a log jam up front, McGee was already getting little minutes and they aren't competing anytime soon anyways
Great idea, but I think it could be better with some fine tuning (as could everything though).
Would probably lead to some very intense rivalries and heated Conference Championship series
CB - Trae Waynes - Michigan State
6’1” - 183 Lbs. - RS Junior
Pros:
- Holds contain around the edge well.
- Talented man-to-man defender.
- Presses well.
- Quick and light on his feet.
- Locks down his side of the field.
- Stays with his assignment step-for-step.
- Blitzes hard and...
