yeah I wouldn't be thrilled with a DLo acquisition if its a max.
Only Harden and Westbrook had a higher usage than Dlo last season. It puts his production into perspective.
No doubt Kawhi would be the best option. Just, personally, I worry that it might take a little of the fun out of any success that they get.
Yeah, good point on Butler though. A PG would be a much more natural fit
Thats the key. What I was saying yesterday.
IF they do, there are plenty of paths to make max space happen alongside the AD deal.
My personal ranking of who I would hope the Lakers could get
1) Kemba
2) Jimmy
3) Kyrie
4) D-Lo
5) Kawhi
But right now none of them seem all that likely. D-lo...
Because a couple people reported the logistics of the trade under one specific scenario, and the rest of the media took it as gospel that that was THE way it would go down and ran with it.
that's exactly why I started my post with "there's a lot of misinformation".
If the Lakers don't get a...
KD is the only one thats at 35, the rest are 32.
AD's trade kicker isn't relevant if they sign free agents before executing the trade. Its only relevant if they execute the trade under the cap. If the Lakers get a max guy, they will definitely be signing him before the trade is executed. From...
I've seen a lot of misinformation about how much cap space the Lakers have.
As of today, they have more than a max spot available (if they were to renounce all FA). Because technically the AD trade hasn't happened.
The question is how will the AD trade be executed? The Lakers have enough cap...
Mecca it doesn't surprise me that you're not allowing yourself to have any hope about Kawhi to the Clips. But if it happens, you'll be pretty ecstatic, yeah?
Yo what up. I got a promotion at work and fell off the face of the earth there for awhile.
Congrats to the Raptors.
I always thought seeing the Warriors lose with Durant would be gratifying, but with all the injuries it really wasn't.
The difference - to me - is this time the Lakers are offering value well above rental price.
They're doing that because
A) they learned their lesson
B) its Anthony Freakin Davis
The Lakers thought PG being a rental who wanted LA meant that could get away with bidding the same price as...
I don't see it as them quitting on LeBron, just a tough adjustment game (just LeBron's 2nd game in 6 weeks) coming on the road against a solid team that is among the bes in the league at capitalizing on the other teams mistakes. Then, yeah, you add on top of that all of the uncertainty...
Yeah its weird they traded away two wings and added a big they didn't really need.
Either something is in the works or maybe they're just really high on Maker
