A sad day for Alabama. Even when Alabama wasn't playing, I'd find the Auburn game on the radio and listen just because Rod was so good at his job. Bringing the passion to the game every weekend isn't easy, and he did it for almost two decades. It's really sad that his wife was killed too... bad...
Alabama, USF schedule 2-for-1 series starting in 2023
Even though it's just USF, I really like this.
Here's our future now with key opponents:
2020: vs. USC
2021: vs. Miami FL
2022: vs. Utah State, @ Texas
2023: vs. Texas, @ USF
2024: vs. USF
2025: vs. ULM
2026: @ West Virginia, vs...
Alabama announces date of 2019 A-Day spring game
Can't wait to see the new faces on defense, and hopefully some more balanced pro style formations from Sark.
MG34 for Support is fun mid range, but personal favorite is the Sten. It's just a laser. ZH-29 for scout is VERY good imo with good aim, get the specialization with extra ammo and you can get a quick 3 kills with 6 shots. Assault is where I can't decide, the DMRs are great but the hit reg isn't...
Hey guys. I don't know how many of you have the game, or a PS4, but I'm Plat 3 right now and grinding to git gud. I've got a long way to go before my end goal of Grand Champion, but at 500 hrs of playtime and having reached Diamond 1 for a short time, I feel like I may can get there by next year...
I played the VIP demo and the Open demo. It was an awesome experience to say the least. May be the best Co-op I've played, most missions require teamwork and communication, and with the difficulty on Normal, it's still a challenging game. Pre-ordered and I can't wait to jump in February 22nd...
BFV is a lot of fun when your squad has mics. There's less of a solo play feel to it, since the mechanics are more catered towards hardcore. Tanks feel a bit clunky sometimes, but once you get the hang of them, they are very strong. I'm a vet from BF1, got to rank 150 and I have a service star...
My personal preferences would be to go after a RB, CB, OL(BPA), and then MAYBE a bigger WR late and hope to develp them into a redzone threat. While the WR core is very solid, it's hard to say any of those guys are true every down threats. Miller may be in a few years, Robinson isn't consistent...
Again, HIS O-LINE WAS ASS. Can't stress that enough. Shula era was horrid offensively, because Shula couldn't develop talent. Joe Kines was the only reason we had a chance in games for 4 years. And in 2005, Prothro went down early in the season, which left our only go to WR as DJ Hall. We...
As a total career, agreed it wasn't as expected. But to say he was a flop, as ATF did, is just flat out wrong. A 10-2 season amidst a bunch of 6-6s with other scrubs at QB is not a flop.
I remember when Dee Hart was at Alabama, he was expected to be the second coming of Chris Johnson. He got...
You OBVIOUSLY didn't watch Croyle in 2005, his only real season as a starter where he wasn't injured. Dude was amazing. He was a true pocket passer, unfortunately we didn't always have a great offensive line during the Shula years, which resulted in him getting injured not once, but twice for a...
Y'all, I'm really looking forward to this season. Depending on how our offensive staff shakes up, I think Saban prepares Tua for the NFL and installs more under center, run friendly formations
Wouldn't surprise me to see a Jalen package midgame with Jacobs and Najee split backs, running the triple read option with Irv or Hentges lead blocking. Oklahoma has seen some good offenses, but the balance of distribution between all of our receivers is what makes our offense so dangerous...
Bill Clark at UAB in MY opinion should have been the winner. Program was dead for 2 years, he has brought them a 10 win season, a conference championship, and a chance at a bowl win. At UAB, that's like taking the Browns to the AFC Championship.
Depends on the year. The eye test can be used to say they aren't playing up to their potential, so consistency is lacking. That's not a team you would want to see in the playoffs. Notre Dame, while spotty at times, had some surprisingly dominant performances this season and didn't lose, and they...
I agree. But my point stands as I wish they would at LEAST give them a championship to play for instead of a consolation bowl against someone that 9/10 has a deeper, more talented roster with better coaches. Is it cool to see that upset every three or four years? Sure. But at the end of the day...
Not so much good as just respectable. But good works too. Both teams have solid strengths (defense) and can't be assumed as a win for really anybody. I'd say .500 and above for an OOC is good. You never know going into the season exactly how good a team will be outside of your match up.
Personally @Terry Rode I wish they would split the P5 and G5 and have two different playoff systems for each. I don't see it as beneficial to anyone in a G5 conference to try and compete for the same trophy as bluebloods even when you manage a 25 game winning streak. If they held a separate...
I would define close as 14 or less depending on when the last score occurred. Fifteen points or more is no longer a salvageable loss, ESPECIALLY to a team ranked significantly lower than said team. While losing to LSU in Baton Rouge isn't a bad thing (Georgia), losing by 20 points is definitely...
1. BE A P5 TEAM. My original post was not a typo.
So....
At 1 you have Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Georgia, Ohio State, Washington
At 2 you have Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame
At 3 you have Ohio State and Georgia OUT, which leaves Oklahoma and Washington
At 4 you have Georgia and...
