One ring puts Kirk in the Hall of Fame. With his stats one ring would do it. Might get in anyway. That's why I was so confused when I saw the contract he signed in Atlanta.

If me saying, if I was in Kirk's position, that I would sign a contract as team friendly as possible after making all the money I can spend, being in my mid 30s without a ring ruffles your feathers.......that's an issue that I'm really not concerned with.

I think someone at his age, that's made the kind of money he's already made and doesn't have a championship would try to figure out a way where he could have as much help around him as possible.
