I'd like to see Church in the box more like the Cards and Rams did with Buchanan and Barron this year.
Our base package is a Nickle so 4 DL's, 2 S, 3 CB's in this case I'd go Lee, Church/McClain at LB Scandrick, CB, CB, Jones and Ramsey
At this point Kearse is nothing better than a ST player...
Denver's line sucked bro lol. I think Hillman comes in and is a better runner than Dunbar. I hate going after RB's with ACL's unless his name is Gurley or AP. Now with that said I would go with a flyer on Foster; but a very very low one.
I think Claiborne is better than Carr, but not by much...
I agree that Vernon doesn't need to come; but I think I'd spend money on pass rush over CB in FA to be honest. If I had one FA I'd go Berry all day; but he will cost 60 mil easy. If I were to get him, I'd go Tredwell in first though.
idk about that. I think Ramsey is great; but he is a Safety IMO. I know there is a lot of talk about the Florida CB; but I just see him as good, not a #4 overall pick.
I'm torn on this UK. The reason people were saying he wouldn't be a great T but a great G in the nfl was because he wasn't athletic, quick, or fast enough; but shoot I think that is all wrong, I'd like to see him at RT just because I'm curious!
Jar I think you can move Collins to RT if Green isn't ready and then put Leary back at LG. I just think to save the 2 mil it would be worth it. Free is to up and down for me at this point. I want a youth movement.
Thanks UK, there is no need to touch Romo's deal not when you have deals like Carr, Smith, Dez, Scandrick, Witten and Crawford's deals whom all could be worked before Romo's should ever be even thought of. With Carr and Witten obviously you either add a few years or you cut; and no not saying...
Mock Offseason
Sign
1.) Ronnie Hillman
2.) Olivier Vernon
3.) Wait for it: RG3 lol (I honestly think this will happen, no matter what anyone thinks of it. After this season though we should probably be welcoming RG3 with open arms, better option than anyone we had this year.)
Re-sign
1.)...
The most beautiful thing about this is that if we carry over the extra space that we have into next season which is 12MM Dez plays for a cap hit of 13MM next season which means the extra space would cover all but 1MM of what Dez will play for next year. We only have 4 UFA's next year that will...
No problem E, I think that if we trade for an RB it won't be for a fourth RB it'll be that we are keeping 3 on the team and the one we get will be the lead dog. IMO
With Dez contract out, and if Hardy doesn't go to court and still serves 4 games, and with Ro's 4 games included. We have about 12M in space, I'm sure we will use this to lock up Crawf early, but I wonder if we will make a trade for an RB if we go into camp and they don't like our current group...
Only way he doesn't play FS to me is if one of these corners isn't playing with us or if one of these corners are at FS instead of him IMO.
Think about it, Carr, Scandrick, Mo, Jones you will have 3 CB's out there 70% of the time I'd assume, which means you aren't going to sit one of these guys...
I will say as of now we don't look to be as good as last year; BUT going into last year who would've said that Murray would be the best RB in the league last year? Not I for sure. I for one would like to upgrade the RB position, but will not say Jerry is crazy for feeling the way he does...
We have become better at every position/unit except RB from last year to this year. Take a look:
QB- Romo same
RB- Last year Murray.......This year DMac/Randle (pending possible addition, but needs to be upgraded as of now or is not as good as last year.
FB- Better
WR- I honestly think with...
The Depth is such a thing of beauty for us this year. We have such a deep secondary. I have heard that if things stay the way they are now that the team is looking into moving Jones or Mo to FS, obviously I'd rather have Jones at FS then Mo, even though I think Mo could be good at being a...
I think we all need to look at this subjectively and realize that since Dallas has had Carr and Mo they have been at best 20th in NFL in sacks, which is not good at all for a NFL team, put it this way, Carr was not good at all the early to mid part of this year when we had 28 sacks total this...
I'd like to see them with a good to great pass rush, be fair here, the pass rush at best has been average since they have both been with us not to mention Mo has been injured the entire time.
DL will have Crawford as 3tech, they've already said that DLaw will be the RDE, which to me is odd because the reason the Boys traded a 2 and 3 last year for DLaw was because they said he was the last of the impact LDE's on the board. They didn't see him as a RDE, but maybe he played the run so...
I honestly don't like the Giants draft, we all know I'm not a Collins fan I think Randell was the best safety, and I think Collins will get exposed in the NFL honestly. I think the UCLA DE is solid but has some major stiffness about him, don't see him being anymore than an average player in the...
You are correct Jar; but what you are forgetting is that currently the rate of inflation is higher than the rate of return on players. Example, you will not add a top dollar player every year, but your cap number will inflate every year. I.E. The cap went up last year substantially, but we added...
