It really is hard to figure out with the skilled players they have but I've noticed the same thing. They are consistently beat by the goalie on the one-on-one breakaways. Which of course leads to why they can't win a shootout. Ox

Looking at this game with unbiased eyes the Kings have been pretty much been outplayed the whole game and were lucky to have the 2-goal lead. Too bad they could have stole one. All they had to do was play harder in this 3rd period. I don't care if it is the second game of back-to-backs. Ox

Once again the opponent comes out for the 3rd period and picks up the intensity and the Kings don't match it. They're caught on their heels and next thing you know it's a brand new game. Ox

Blame it on me. I said early on in this winning streak that I'd be happy with 8 in a row and then start a new streak the next night against Anaheim. I blame that on the ref for being out of position. He should have been behind the net not out to the side. Ox
